Class Offerings & Times
All classes need to be booked prior to attending. No booking no spot.
Classes are available in our beautiful Yoga Shala in the scenic area of Tallebudgera, just 2 mins south from Man On The Bike Shops. Shala is a Sanskrit word which means ‘house’ or ‘home’ so you can think of this space as a yoga home, or a spiritual home for practice.
Early Morning (AM) classes are strong and will build strength along with flexibility and deep connection to self. The early morning classes work deeply with the Yang time of day, when your body is ready to work strongly and shift emotions and stresses that accumulated from the day or night before.
Evening (PM) classes are more restorative and work with balancing the nervous system. These classes are deeply nourishing and restorative and work with the Yin time of day. Further class descriptions can be read below.
Our timetable is boutique to keep with the feel of the Shala and the abode in which it sits.
Infrared heating panel’s are used in winter to keep the shala warm and cosy. Infrared is known for its healing properties.
Private and semi private classes are also available upon request.

Vinyasa yoga is a great way to feel the benefits of a strong moving and flowing style of yoga. It is challenging and through practice and correct breath control, you can create a strong and flexible body and an amazing mind body connection.
Mandala yoga, a symbol that represents the intricate and sacred dance of life.
Our practice begins with sun salutations, before moving through a 360 degree motion on the mat through graceful dance like movements. Lots of energy is bought into a Mandala class and will get your left and right sides of the brain firing up.Both these classes will give you a great concept of what yoga is actually about. It is more than just moving your body.
These classes are both morning AM classes.
Slow flow/YinYoga - 60 mins
Your wind down class for the week. This class is designed to bring harmony to your body and mind. We start with gentle movements inspired by tai chi to connect with our vital life force. Through flowing movements, we will open the body, deepen the breath, and connect with ourselves.
Power Pilates & Mat Pilates - 45 mins
Are you searching for a class that will not only challenge your body but also ignite your creativity? There is a slight difference between Power Pilates & Mat Pilates. You will find the Power Pilates classes in the early morning (AM) as this class is dynamic and works with your cardiovascular fitness also. Whilst this is a low impact class on joints and there is no ‘jumping’ actions, it is strong on repetitions with small amount of breaks to give you a lean and muscular physique whilst reducing risk of pelvic floor injury and “jolting activities”. This class combines elements of Barre, core stability, back strengthening, and upper body workouts. Designed to quickly build strength and muscle tone.

Following the slow warm up for the body and breath, we then move into long Yin yoga holds for the second half of the class. This involves holding postures for around three minutes, allowing us to explore resistance within ourselves. This class is great for balancing the nervous system, activating the rest-and-digest response to counter chronic stress.
This class is suitable for those dealing with tightness or chronic stress. Yin yoga provides relief and brings ease and suppleness. Props like blocks, bolsters, and blankets will support us in each posture. Join us on the mat to embrace movement, stillness, and balance within.. .

Mat pilates, is a little slower, with more breaks and strangling between the sequences. This class guarantees a targeted approach to sculpting those prominent areas of your body.
Expect to use a range of props we call ‘equipement in the pilates class, or you can choose to use none! Choice is yours! One thing is for sure, you will come away feeling muscles you didn’t know existed.
Both these classes are a great add to your week, no matter what you do. Whether yoga or strength or cardio, Pilates will support all of that and more.
Great up beat music to get you pulsing away!
